The life of Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman, is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. Not again!

A Customer from Cambridge, 26th October, 2008

The rate at which Sandler-driven movie vehicles hit our screens should tell you all you need to know about their quality. The man is just not funny. All the way back to his golden age of Happy Gilmour his humour has been lame. What is the popular fascination with this comedian?

Outstanding! Adam Sandler is the best comedic actor ever, along with Ben Stiller!

Zzzzzzzzzzz

Ok here we go, i am not a fan of sandler i just do not think his funny, im a fan of a few of his films but thats normally due to a good supporting cast, and they are the one where he is not doing that annoying scream and mocking noise or sarcastic laugh i hate it, and this film is just another one of those, its boring even my kids got bored. Verdict: Just glad my mum let me borrow her copy before i decided to rent it lol The guinea pig is cute though :-)

Might just send you to sleep

Good as Sandler is, he can only work with the material he takes on, and I'm afraid he should have left this script under the bed. Sandlers father is the film is pretty much a down on his luck hotelier who sells out to the big boys who along with promising a wonderful new hotel, also say his son will be guaranteed a job for life. Of course no one mentioned the job would be as a lowly handyman come janitor. But luck and a few bedtime stories told to his newphew and niece will not let Sandlers fate be so lowly, and a change in fortune is never in doubt. There are no graet comedy moments, no great story and nothing muchh to mention, other than it is an OK movie that you wouldnt miss out on if you didnt see. basically for diehard Sandler fans only.

Bedtime Stories

We got this for our children aged 7 and 4, they didn't exactly follow the plot but that didn't matter too much. They enjoyed the bedtime stories that were being told by Skeeter and their favourite part was the guinea pig. Completely irrelevant but they thought it hilarious.

Rented this movie for our 6 year old and as my partner loves Adam SADLER. Great film and funny for all with some 'gags' over the head of our lil un but made us laugh out loud!

Great for all the Family to see

AurumOnline from , 23rd August, 2010

I initially rented this so that my sister could watch it, as she really wanted to see it when it was released in cinemas, but we never got the chance to take her around the time. To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything too spectacular, but it was actually surprisingly good, and I'd happily see it again :D Oh, and yeah, my little sister loved it too, now she has a thing for having a bed-time story each night ;)
