original angle

A Customer from Southampton, 16th November, 2008

You get the 2-D and 3D versions on the same disc so there is no looking for the seperate disc. If you buy it you get 2 pairs of 3D glasses with it, so no extra purchase necessary. Forget the original plot as this is a whole new one because it is a vernian rollercoaster version. A bit like Indiana Jones and National treasure but it goes at such a pace it is like being a fast Disney ride. The Glasses are awkward if you have to wear glasses and can detract in some ways from the film. The best bit about this is you can - like any ride go back and view it again only this time in 2D. The film is released in full 16:9 format or 1.74: 1 Anamorphic. follow the onscreen instructions for the best viewing options. For not detracting from the original text and re-writing the one starring James mason I give this 4 stars for originality and defintely worth a watch.

I kind of listened to this whilst playing online poker, it could not have distracted me less from my winning. Do not watch this film.

The best 3-D action ever

A Customer from Bournemouth, 20th December, 2008

I have just finished watching this film in 3-D and even though you have to wear the included glasses it is by far the best experience I have ever had at home with 3-D films. The previous 3-D film I had watched was Spy Kids 3-D but you felt as though you were in a computer game and not a movie whereas this film I had to rewind a few times just to re-experience the best parts. One of the best parts in the film in 3-D was the tram ride as it made me feel like I was as Alton Towers. My advice is to get this film but when you watch it first time round watch it in 3-D you will not forget it.

Family Viewing

mummyparrot from , 18th February, 2010

This film is a truly family viewing film. No 4 letter words, no sex and no violence. Just good clean entertainment for the whole family. I would happy watch this film with my mother and or my grandchildren. Lots of action to keep my 20 year viewing from start to finish too. Yes a good family film! Worth a view for a family evening in.

The title says it all - don't get too excited, but the kids might like it.
