Radio Times

Michael Nouri's career has had its ups and downs since he co-starred alongside Jennifer Beals in Flashdance. In this TV-movie adaptation of the Danielle Steel novel, he plays a widowed surgeon who starts a new life with Cheryl Ladd's television news reporter. There are all the twists, turns, highs, lows and heartbreaks you'd expect, but it's handled quite well and mercifully doesn't get as flowery as the book on which it is based.

Enjoyable Storyline

A Customer from Leicestershire, England, 25th May, 2005

A typical Danieel Steel romantic drama in which Cheryl Ladd plays a reporter with two daughters who falls in love with a surgeon who has two sons and one daughter and lives the other side of the country. Plently of ups and downs; mainly through the kids coming to terms with the situation. Danielle Steel fans will love it, so will anyone else who enjoys a good family romantic drama.

A Bitter Disappointment

Joseph E. Walmsley from Newport, South Wales, 13th June, 2006

After watching 'Zoya' and 'The Ring', also by Danielle Steel, this film was shoddily acted, lacking in depth -- Barbara Cartland without the 'Pzazz'. The theme has been done before and much better -- the story was predictable. Instead of having pathos -- it was pathetic. My wife and I watched this film together - and at the end the sigh was of relief that it was all over.
