Radio Times

Three couples deal with pregnancy, adoption and infertility in this weepie based on the Danielle Steel romantic novel. The plot is predictable, but the TV-based cast gives its all, and there are some topnotch performances from ex-Happy Days star Scott Baio, St Elsewhere's Bruce Greenwood and Baywatch's Alexandra Paul. Meanwhile, director Bethany Rooney makes sure every moment is a three-hanky one, which is hardly surprising when you consider her previous output includes other Danielle Steel melodramas, Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman and Touched by an Angel.

A gentle film covering the story of three couples each wanting a family. Very moving in parts. Good interpretation of the Danielle Steele novel.
