Small pointer

Dazzz from London, England, 14th November, 2006

This is a great season of this show ... my only pointer is don't get disk 6 unless you like deleted scenes as that is all that disk 6 contains.

Jaw Dropping Television

Keith Jackson from Bristol, UK, 3rd March, 2006

This series has really raised the bar for television sci-fi and drama to a new level. The first series of Ron Moore (formerly of Start Trek: The Next Generation) and David Eick's re-interpretation of Glen Larson's classic was some of the most phenomenaly engaging television i've ever watched. This series is even better. Beginning where the first series left off (with possibly the most shocking cliff hanger since JR got shot on Dallas), the series is a rollercoaster. I haven't seen the last four episodes yet, just a word of warning - don't start watching this too late or you'll find yourself still awake when the birds start singing.

Don't bother with extras disc

A Customer from E14, England., 9th November, 2006

BSG series 2 is brilliant, especially as you don't have to be submitted to the atmosphere-ruining ad breaks. Just don't bother with the last disc of the set - just low-quality outtakes in 4:3 format.

Seriously Fantastic Television

Stephen Kingsley from Suffolk, 9th April, 2006

This series just gets better and better. It is one of the most engaging SciFi programmes to date and keeps you gripped constantly. The storys continue to engage you and the cast has proved that this adaption is indeed better than the first, (once getting over that Starbuck is a girl and that Boomer is a Cylon). I watched the first series again the other day and it doesn't waver in its addiction.

Am now getting to end of season 2. Am now getting a little fidgety with repetitive dark scenes and story lines. Not at all sure I can stay the course ??

Great 2nd series

BrilliantTrees from , 30th October, 2008

A very good series, that even my wife (who isn't usually keen on sci fi) likes. The only 'issue' I have with it so far, is that nobody seems to have picked up on the strange behaviour of the doctor/VP. I'm sure people would be suspicious of him in that life threatening situation.
