Annika and her teenage daughter Saga arrive in a small town in Lapland in order for her to start a new job, and the pair a new life. It's not long before Saga is making a friend, Vega; a raven-haired goth. Can Vega be trusted? Moreover, will mother and daughter discover the town's horrifying secret before it's too late? FROSTBITE is an invigorating vampire film with a difference: Set in a part of the world that is plunged into darkness for weeks upon end, there is no escaping these creatures of the night at dawn. With comedic overtones and a post-modernist sensibility that is steeped in the writings of Bram Stoker and Hammer Horror, FROSTBITE is a vampire film you will not want to miss.

Vampire films are'nt dead

David Rees from Swansea, Wales, 28th March, 2007

There have been so many badly executed vampire films in the last few years, that I had reservations with this attempt . Especially as I was confused beyond belief with 'nightwatch' ,which was also a Russian production which made no sense. (if anyone has any idea what was supposed to be going on it that film I would like to hear from you) However, Frostbite did'nt take itself too seriously. It is basically a vamp mix of teen slasher and creature feature. if your a fan of vampire flicks then this shpuld be right up your street. (As long as you dont mind subs)

And the Nights are Six Months Long

FrankIV from , 20th April, 2007

This is a cheerful little Nordic vampire movie with quite a few good variations on the theme, such as long winters and death by garden gnome. The effects are variable, but there are some good sight-gags and the whole thing moves along at a brisk pace. Very enjoyable.

Great vampire flick....

Helsbels from , 15th August, 2007

Better than your average Dracula movie, it was really good with some added humour as well. I thoughroughly enjoyed this, scary and funny at the same time. Some people may be put off by the sub-titles though but give it a watch, it really is worth it.

Frostbite.

theantlion from , 20th October, 2008

Whilst the first half of the film offers promise, the film fails to deliver in the second half. A massacre scene that is sterilised and an ending that leaves it wide open for a TV series ala Buffy. However the premise, Vampires working in a place with no sunlight, that's what I would do, is good and carried off a lot more successfully in '30 Days of Night'. In fact all the main Vamp movies are better than this but it does deliver for the teenage viewer or for a diverting few hours, possibly accompnaied by a glass of something red. A doe not a deer.

Idiotic

A Customer from Cranbrook, Kent, 12th August, 2008

A promising start - for 5 minutes but then it becomes just another Shaun of the Dead. Can anybody really live in this place??
