Plot?

I preferred the first Ice Age, and not because it was 'new and fresh' but because it had a storyline that made sense. This one was all over the place. They were trying to survive but there was no real sense of urgency about any of it. Shrek goes off on different tangents but at least it keeps to the plot!!

Great Quality HD

I didn't think that a blu-ray animation would look much better then a standard definition version, however I was proven wrong as this film looked absolutly fantastic in HD. As animations go its prity standard as far as humer, cute caraters and a heart warming story line.

Ice Age 2

Although predominantly aimed at a younger audience, me and my friends (aged 22-25) all enjoyed this film. Excellent animation and some brilliant voice acting bring the well written script to life. A top bluray picture and high quality sound add to the watchability and there are some classic comedy moments. Definatley worth renting even it's not your usual type of film.

Ice Age for the family

Light and fluffy. Surprisingly this did not disappoint as a sequel to Ice Age and is good family entertainment with an opening to discuss global warming and evolution issues with the children if you wish.
