Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is the victim of a political conspiracy that is determined to bring him down, and the only one who can save him is his brother, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). A prison engineer, Michael gets himself arrested and locked up in the same prison where his brother sits on death row, intending to use his intimate knowledge of the Fox River State Penitentiary to help them both escape. The second series of PRISON BREAK begins hours after Michael, Lincoln, and a number of other inmates have made good their escape. The brothers search for money that Michael had buried prior to his incarceration and attempt to bring down the political conspiracy that framed Lincoln, all the while evading the authorities hot on their trail. Meanwhile, the other members of the prison break set about achieving their own aims.

Action, Excitement & Suspense

Iain Gethin from Cardiff, Wales, UK, 21st April, 2007

If you liked season one of Prison Break then you will love season two (and I suppose vice-a-versa). It's more of the same fast-paced excitement, except now the focus has changed from escaping the prison to escaping the FBI. All the escaped convicts from the end season one return as does Bellik who somehow manages to be even more messed up than in season one. Furthermore the addition of William Fichtner to the cast, playing Agent Mahone, was a masterstroke as he is a perfect fit for the disturbed FBI cop who leads the manhunt against the convicts. I have to admit that at the end of season one I was worried that the show was going to go downhill through a lack of ideas - that perhaps it was just going to be FOX milking the final buck - but I was very wrong. The cliffhangers in each episode are perhaps better than even 24 or Lost. If there is one thing that American does well it is action, excitement and suspense in their top TV dramas. Prison Break is a prime example of this. This is perfect for anyone who doesn't watch the series on Five or download it, however if you do rent it be prepared to find yourself watching 'just on more episode'...

Predictable... eh... no

Ryan Straub from Kirkintilloch, Scotland, 27th July, 2007

At the season one finale.... you pause with baited breath... Will they make it? The obvious scenario is they don't and the producers throw them all back in the clink for another grandiose espace plan that has more contingencies than the Royal Marines. We'll... you will not be dissapointed.. The first disc in the second series points the show in a new direction... the chase. There is a brilliant new character in the guise of an FBI agent who cares more about catching the bad guy's that anything else in the world.. but like Schofield... he has some charatcer flaws which go to make the man both real and intriging... gives him that rain man like brain power while making it believeable. Has Schofield met his match? The stregth of this new series is going to be the strong cast and multiple story lines... very clever writing looks to produce a franchise the likes of which should sustain us for at least another series or two. Compelling viewing. Send me the next disc now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great stuff!

Jamjar1 from , 15th September, 2007

As addictive as usual. We're always dismayed when we've played the last episode, and can't wait for the next disc to come through. Although the plot is dramatic and at times unbelievable (unless you go in for monumental coincidences!), the show manages to keep you gripped from episode to episode. Suspend your disbelief, grab a beer and some crisps and settle down with this...but be prepared to watch the whole disc right through, no matter what your intentions for an early night may be!

prison break gets better

Prison break mad (no supprise) from Essex, England, 25th April, 2007

I have watched all of season 2 and it hell gets better, the ending is brilliant, leaving us on another cliff-hanger! Just to say prison break won't end hear and will be showing season 3! It won't be for a couple of months. I won't spoil the ending for you! Well prion break is about Lincoln Burrows who is convicted of murdering the vice presidents brother (she later becomes he president) and he will serve death row. Michael (lincolns brother) believes his innocence and commits a crime and breaks him out of prison. Breaking somebody out of prison and becomming 'America's most wanted' seems hard for michael and his plans begin to shatter. Convinced that there is $5 million in Utah michael goes on a search for it aswell as other fugitives. Can michael get to Panama when all seems bad? Is this the last we've seen? Will they be going back to Fox River? I wouldn't asume that just yet!!! More prizes in store, the most thrilling exciting manhunt in history!!! With millions of fans who watch prison break it's not supprising it is so popular and loved. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't got anything to do, you won't beat this for a saturday night!!! Enjoy! For more information visit: www.fox.com/prisonbreak www.five.tv/prisonbreak
