Interesting thriller

Nadya from , 29th June, 2007

I was quite impressed by this movie. It is about a Dutch guy who comes to Morocco to help out the chilren but then he gets kidnapped. However, what you see at first is not what is actually happening. The plot is very interesting and has a totally unexpected turn at the end. Totally recommend.

Thought provoking...

Treadstone from , 4th September, 2007

This movie is a very interesting story about a Dutch guy who heads off to Morocco in order to set up a food programme to help the impoverished and is kidnapped and tortured by what would appear to be terrorists; however all is not what it seems. Upon receiving this film, I noted a couple of negative reviews, so I had my doubts. However my girlfriend and I found ourselves engrossed by the series of events that soon unfolded as the film progressed. Laurance Fishbourne puts on a performance that you will have grown to expect and enjoy from such a talented actor and Ryan Phillippe does a pretty convincing job of acting as the Dutch bloke, Martijn. I’m not sure if he is Dutch himself, if not, then he did a perfect Dutch impersonation. I digress, yes this movie can be a little slow moving but this is more a psychological journey, if you are after a face-paced action movie then you should possibly avoid. However if you can persevere and you enjoy this genre of film (i.e. action/ drama) then you will certainly enjoy this. I would recommend this to my friends any day. One word of warning, you may be left asking many questions at the end…but that’s the idea.

five fingers

paul forsyth from holywell n-wales, 7th August, 2007

a very clever thriller, every scene has a twist and turn which finally takes you to the unexpected ending. I wasn't too sure before the start but it left me thinking about the plot for days after, well worth a look.

Five Fingers:Grab a watch

raptor1217 from , 2nd October, 2008

I was unsure in hiring this, hadn't heard of it, and the synopsis didn't tell you much. Which is good, as telling much about can give too much away. What looks like a cheap film to make, there are no morre than 4 main charcaters, and filmed in mostly one location. But don't let this put you off. I was pleasently surprised by this. Its about Ryan Phillipe a Dutch banker, kidnapped in Morroco by Lawrence Fishburne and his terrorists. Anything else might give something away. The film keeps you guessing on whats happening and building up the tension. Well worthwhile to watch.

A really good film thats told very well.

James from Brighton, 22nd September, 2008

Watch the film, you see it thru the eyes of the person kidnapped. But after watching the the film the story unravels and at the end of the film you see how easy it is to be suckered into believing something that is so false. A really good film thats told very well. Good lighting and camera work.
