Good story

Excluding the Lethal Weapon movies I don't normally Like Mel Gibson but he was good in this. Good story which moves along at a good pace. This is a film I feel has no real benefit being in HD although te battle scenes do look amazing.

Long but enjoyable.

Excellent film. Was told that Mel Gibson had portrayed a little anti-British feeling in the film, but we were a ruthless nation when we had the colonies so I had no problem with the theme. Acting was good, scenes were well portrayed and overall an enjoyable watch, although the plot was maybe a little predictable at times. Very long but never boring. Blu-ray picture quality good but sound not as good as could have been. Battle scenes were well filmed but sound seemed a little remote at times. Not too much to criticise though.
