Has the potential as a cult classic

8BallWizard from from London, 22nd November, 2007

This is a real undiscovered gem! The 3 leads gel really well and there are some classic moments like the mask and bath scene! Very funny! Has the potential to reach cult status. Its directed of Pump up the Volume and Empire Records...classics in their own right. Check it out!

Weird but enjoyable

A Customer from Dartford, 30th March, 2009

PUMP UP THE VOLUME's Allan Moyle directs this trippy comedy starring Scott Speedman, Wes Bentley, and Taryn Manning. WEIRDSVILLE combines overdoses, dead bodies, resurrection, and Satanic sacrifices to darkly comic effect.

cool

erin saxton from nottingham england, 20th March, 2008

once this came i thought it's going to be a big steaming pile ... i know you're thinking, so why rent it moron. Well i'm glad i did, it was really funny, completely different to what i expected, a flash back to the good old empire records days.... The only think i hated was Taryn Manning, but that's only because i hate her anyway, and why does she insist on singing in that god awful nasal voice in every film she does?!... blah.

Dumb teen flick at it's worst

A Customer from London, 19th June, 2008

I had heard that this was a comedy, I shall definitely have words with the friend who recommended this!
This is the worst of teen movies I have ever seen. It is so bad.
Avoid this movie unless your life and time is meaningless to you.

OK

Ouch from , 15th June, 2009

This film was kinda cool. There are a few twists and turns but it's basically about being on the run. It was much darker than I expected..like..more gritty but it was quite enjoyable. 1 lad accidentally let's his girlfriend overdose and decides to bury her at his old workplace. They have a run in with some strange characters... There are clashes and madness after that.. Worth a watch but not amazing!

Funnier Than It Should Be

swukker from , 28th April, 2009

A very black, very funny comedy. Not terribly original with echoes of other film makers - David Lynch and Quentin Tarentino, among others, come to mind. But it is well made and well acted enough to stand up on its own. I thought it may raise the odd laugh and I was probably laughing more than I wasn't. Well worth renting.
