This film looked promising and had a good storyline. Unfortunately the film was slow and never really got going during the whole 2 hours. Come the end of the film it came to it that there were 2 storylines within the film which came to a head at the end.

Disappointing

A Customer from Wirral, England, 9th December, 2009

This movie wasn't great. I was expecting good things from reading the storyline and was expecting more drama and action. Reese was a let down. The plot wasn't great and to be honest with you, it was a little boring and maybe slighlty frustrating. Expected more to happen, and the ending was a big big frustration. I didn't want to switch it off but I wouldn't exactly recommend it.

Don't Waste Your Time

Pugeater from , 29th November, 2009

On the strength of this film the director, Gavin Hood was presumably given X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Why? This has also given me second thoughts about renting said movie, also on my rental list. Watched for about an hour and then just turned it off. Turned it off infact to watch a Norman Wisdom film from the fifties! Basically I felt nothing for the main characters, Omar Wetwally? Reese Witherspoon, who's only decent role that I can think of was in American Psycho as a much medicated, status driven and shallow character, possible typcasing although I've never met the woman. Jake Gyllenhaal is also completely forgettable as is Meryl Streep. Overly talky with nothing to pull you in for over an hour? Don't waste you time.
