Like the man says: "mindblowing"

jimweibo from , 11th April, 2009

This is a documentary, but don't let that put you off. It's a film about the making of a film loosely based on real events. An inexperienced but cocky director has landed the services of one of India's major stars, Sanjay Dutt, for a film about terrorism and police corruption. The trouble is, Dutt is himself caught up in a never-ending trial for arms possession, so the filming has to be scheduled around his court appearances.

You'll learn a lot about film making and even more about India (if you think the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai were a one-off event, this film will set you straight). There are a lot of laughs too, some of them provided by the young director's excessive fondness for a certain adjective....

Ignore the negative reviews. This is well worth a look.

A Bollywood Spinal Tap!

A Customer from London, 16th March, 2009

This film was a bit like Spinal Tap. Only real! I fully recommend it if you're into Bollywood from a Westerners point of view. Very funny and a fascinating insight into the Bollywood film set.
